The association MedicalAid India e.V., founded in April 2015, is registered in the Krefeld register of associations under the number VR 4603 and was recognized as a non-profit organization by the Krefeld tax office in 2015 (tax number 117/5866/0571).
The association was initiated by the Krefeld ENT doctor, Dr. Susanne Wagener.
The goal of this voluntary association is to establish free medical care for the residents of the Indian town of Penukonda and the surrounding villages.
The region relies on agriculture, and a portion of the population is extremely poor.
For most, even one proper meal a day is unaffordable. Electricity and running water are luxuries that many of the residents do not have access to.

In cooperation with the local "Shirdi Sai Global Trust (SSGT)," Dr. Susanne Wagener played a key role in realizing the vision of a day clinic.
With the help of donations from India and Germany, an existing building was remodeled and renovated. The outpatient facility was equipped by the association MedicalAid India e.V. with the help of dedicated colleagues from Krefeld and the surrounding areas, and the equipment was shipped to India via container.
Since its opening in January 2016, the outpatient clinic has been available to all impoverished residents of Penukonda, providing free treatments through medical camps.
Currently, MedicalAid India e.V. is involved in a total of 4 projects::
The Shirdi Sai Global Trust Medical Clinic
The Navya Shree Free Eye Hospital
A pharmacy that provides free medications to those in need
The grand vision for the future is the establishment of a hospital that is freely accessible to the population, offering everything from diagnostics to conservative and surgical treatments, with a special focus on obstetrics and pediatrics.
These humanitarian projects would not be possible without your help and support.
